On the evening of June 23, Yuquan · Harmony & Elegance- Li Yundi Piano Recital was held in Daqing Opera House. As invited by Yuquan Distillery in Heilongjiang, Li Yundi known as the “Piano Prince” presented a wonderful and fantastic audio-visual feast for audiences in Harbin, and this was also Li Yundi’s first performance in Daqiang Opera House.

Known as the Piano Prince, Li Yundi is the most popular pianist in China as well as an international piano super star. He has showed himself on the stage of the Spring Festival Evening of CCTV for three times, presenting poetic and romantic performances for over one billion audiences throughout China, and he is also hailed as China’s “National Treasure” for the whole world. He is the champion of Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition, the youngest winner of the gold prize as well as the first Chinese to be awarded with this honorable prize, which shocked the international circle of classical music, and music critics around the world rated him as the most talented musician.  In minds of Chinese, he is the most legendary youth leader and a distinguished idol sweeping Asian and Europe. In this mid-summer night, the coming of Li Yundi gave rise to a mania for classical music.

In the recital, Li Yundi played typical works of many famous musicians as Beethoven, Chopin, etc within over 2 hours. The time seemed to be stopped by lithe and graceful tunes flowing through his fingers, audiences present was totally intoxicated in his poetic music which was mild and indirect sometimes, passionate sometimes. As the last tone disappeared in the flooding applauses of audiences, the recital came to a perfect end.
