“National Wine and Fruit Wine Industry Convention in 2015” was held in Deqin County, Yunnan Province, on August 29. At the convention, the “First Shangri-La Wine Quality Competition” was held and the products of Shangri-La won two gold medals and one excellent prize.

The convention was sponsored by China National Food Industry Association and the CPC Committee and Government of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and was co-sponsored by People’s Government of Deqin County. More than 200 guests from domestic wine expert committees, key enterprises and research institutes gathered together to discuss the development of the wine industry.

The convention featured the “First Shangri-La Wine Quality Competition”. The experts selected six gold medal winners, eight excellent prize winners, and ten special prize winners from 66 domestic and foreign competing wine products. Shangri-La AAA Plateau Wine and Shangri-La Plateau Shiraz Wine (2013) won the gold medal; Shangri-La Plateau A6 Wine (Yunnan) won the excellent prize.

The “11th Pan-Asian Kunming International Agricultural Expo 2015” sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province and co-sponsored by People’s Government of Kunming City, Yunnan Provincial Department of Agriculture, Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce, Chinese Agri-produce Marketing Association, and Yunnan Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade was held in Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Centre from September 19 to 23. “Shangri-La Tibetandry Barley Wine” won the gold medal as “Excellent Agricultural Product of the 11th Pan-Asian Kunming International Agricultural Expo 2015” issued by the organizing committee.
