On November 3, the winners of the 22nd Spirits Selection by CMB were officially released to the world. After three days of intense competition, “Lotus · Jade Series”, a strategic boutique liquor product of VATS Liquor Store, stood out and won unanimous praise from the judges of the International Organizing Committee. They won two Gold Medals in the competition.

Spirits Selection by CMB is one of the most prestigious spirits competitions in the world. The results of the competition are also supervised and certified by the European Union and the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium. A total of record-high 1,801 samples from 47 countries and regions were received for the competition.

This series is originated from the 0.6-square-kilometer Renxi Valley in the 7.5-square-kilometer core production area of Moutai Town. The raw materials are hillside Hongyingzi organic glutinous sorghum with nearly 90% amylopectin growing at an altitude of 500m or more in Renhuai and mountain spring in the valley between precipices in the upper reaches of Chishui River. They are processed strictly with the 12987 Daqu Kunsha brewing technology. The ultimate transformation of grains injects into the “Lotus · Jade Series” a smooth and mellow pure style of Moutai-flavour liquor.
