At the same time, Jinliufu· Diwangjin is made from good-quality grain sourced from different parts of the country and guaranteed by more than 20 national brewers and well-known brewing consultants at home and abroad. It is also important evidence that the consistent quality concept of Jinliufu over the past 21 years is highly recognized by an international competition and that “Jinliufu·Yitanhaojiu” has the inherent strength that makes it so popular among consumers since it was officially launched to the market in 2017.
OTU - the enviable gene of Guobao Lidu
Five years after “Lidu Sorghum 1955” and “55-degree Feitian Maotai” won the Grand Gold Award of Concours Mondialde Bruxelles in 2015, “Lidu Sorghum 1308” once again won this highest international honor. Lidu Liquor Co., Ltd. was the only company that won two Grand Gold Awards in the country! These unprecedented honors proved the excellent quality of Guobao Lidu. As an old saying in China goes, “Gold will glitter.”A dust-covered cellar dating back to the Yuan Dynasty, the ancestral temple of spirits, resumes its glory under the careful polishing of craftsmen at Guobao Lidu.
Lidu ancestral cellar is known as a “millennial cellar with vinasse formula that has a history of tends of thousands of years.” Dating back to the Yuan Dynasty, Lidu boasts of the longest history in the Chinese liquor circle and can be described as the the ancestral temple of spirits (Chinese ancient distillate spirits). Lidu’s craftsmen have passed down the unique brewing formula through eight hundred years. Having tested year by year, they came up with the best grain-water ratio and made good spirits after a long fermentation period and at least five years of storage in the essence of heaven and earth. The secret of this good quality is the mysterious “Operational Taxonomic Unit” (OTU). Lidu’s good quality is much attributed to the presence of more OTUs. Its 167 OTUs surviving from the Yuan Dynasty are far more than dozens found in Luzhou-flavor and Maotai-flavor spirits. The fragrance in Lidu’s spirits is the very product of complex compound changes and is unparalleled in the world. Lidu’s OTUs are obviously different from those in the other two genres. They are archaea enzymes that can survive in the ambient temperature environment. The workshop-style production environment in Lidu supports more human involvement and more systematic ecosystem.
