On May 22, the Conference on Revitalizing the Development of the Liquor Industry in Guangxi was held in Nandan County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (“GZAR”), under the theme of “Making Good Liquor of Moutai-flavour, Luzhou-flavour, Rice-flavour, and Guangxi-Flavour with Good Grain in A Good Place”. Actions to be taken for revitalizing liquor in Guangxi were studied and deployed at the conference. Qin Rupei, member of the Standing Committee and Executive Vice Chairman of the Party Committee of GZAR, emphasized “Six Focuses” for revitalizing liquor and promoting the development of the liquor industry in Guangxi: focusing on facilitation by government, focusing on the growth of leading enterprises, focusing on building of brands, focusing on quality improvement, focusing on construction of bases, and focusing on marketing. Joint efforts should be made to constantly enhance the local, regional, national and even international reputation and influence of Guangxi liquor and help the industry grow bigger and stronger through the initiative of enterprises, facilitation by government, linkage in the industry, and driving force from leaders. At the conference, awards were granted to “Top 10 Famous and Excellent Liquor Products in Guangxi”. Guilin Xiangshan Distillery Co., Ltd. had three products, i.e. “Gui No. 1 ·Black Diamond”, “Xiangshan Laotanjiu ·Ming”, and “Guiqingjiu”, won this award.
