On January 28, the 2020 donation ceremony of VATS Liquor Store to help Weixi County with poverty alleviation by improving its education was held in Weixi County, Diqing Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. To help alleviate poverty, VATS Liquor Store donated RMB 300,000 to 74 college students as educational fund.

VATS Liquor Store has continuously injected RMB 800,000 to the aid fund for Weixi County since 2019, which has helped 124 needy college students. While resting the students assured to pursue their studies, the fund also injects a strong driving force to 124 poor families to prevent poverty from inter-generational transmission.

Li Gang, member of the Party Group and Secretary General of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Diqing Prefecture, Liu Limei, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress and Chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of Weixi County, the head of the Education and Sports Bureau of Weixi County, and the 74 college students attended the poverty alleviation donation ceremony.
