On the evening of September 22, approved by the competent authority, “Charm Xiangxi”, a “big show” about folk culture in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City, was officially back to the stage after being stopped for nearly two months due to the COVID-19. Approximately 500 spectators watched the show in the auditorium. It is learned that all the spectators observed social distancing and must wear a mask throughout the entire process and that the number of admitted spectators was not more than 50% of the total capacity of the auditorium, according to the requirements for normalized epidemic prevention and control.

According to the person in charge of Zhangjiajie Charm Xiangxi Grand Theater, all the cast members passed nucleic acid tests and had health QR code before the show resumed. In addition, all the staff was organized to receive special training on epidemic prevention and control knowledge and carry out emergency drills. At the same time, the areas, facilities and equipment inside and outside the auditorium were disinfected. Disinfectant was sprayed to every key part such as seat backs and seat armrests that spectators would be directly in contact with, so as to ensure that the disinfection was thorough and in place. Apart from online real-name ticket purchases and mask on throughout the show, all the spectators were also required to show their health QR code and travel history QR code and have their temperature measured by the staff. All of them entered the auditorium in an orderly manner and kept social distancing while seated. After the show was over, they left in batches, again in an orderly manner.

It is learned that tentatively only one show is put on at 19:30 every day after the resumption and that tourists from mid- and high-risk cities are rejected.
