The Group Holds a Quarterly Review and Analysis Meeting on Safety Work

2024-04-29

On April 29, the Group held an online meeting to review and analyze safety work in the first quarter and outline safety work for the second quarter. The meeting focused closely on the Chairman’s safety management philosophy, offered a specific analysis of the work safety landscape both inside and outside the Group, and outlined the key priorities for safety management work in the second quarter, guiding the future safety work of various entities within the Group.

The meeting was organized by the Group’s Safety Committee Office, with the heads of production and operation entities from each sector, as well as relevant leaders and heads of the safety management department, in attendance. Each sector reported its safety work from January to April, highlighting existing deficiencies and presenting key priorities and related requirements for safety work in the second quarter. The Group’s Monitoring Center reported common issues identified during surveillance and offered suggestions for improvement. Both distilleries shared their experiences in preventing occupational injuries and ensuring fire safety.

In his summary remarks, the person in charge of work safety in the Group highlighted that fire safety is the top priority in the safety work of distilleries. Fire prevention work must remain a top priority at all times. It is essential to implement fire safety policies and measures to ensure that no major safety accidents or fire accidents occur throughout the year. In the second quarter, safety work should take into account seasonal climate characteristics and the specific circumstances of each entity, targeting the prevention of major risks. When addressing safety issues, the focus should be on “two principles”: regularly addressing recurring issues and prioritizing special issues. It is important to leverage the role of monitoring systems in daily management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. In conclusion, he specifically noted that each entity must further clarify responsibilities in work safety management and implement the “Five Focuses + Four Systems”. They should focus on refining, solidifying, maintaining, rectifying, and ensuring safety work is implemented. Additionally, they should establish a work safety responsibility system, record-keeping system, percentage system, and reward-and-punishment system to continually strengthen foundational safety work and enhance management standards.
