Flood has no mercy, but Jindong is sympathetic and caring. On July 10, 2019, Liling, Hunan, was hit by a flood. The Real Estate Business of Jindong Group donated RMB 2 million to the Charity Association of Liling City for disaster relief.

In 2012, Xiangjiao Distillery under VATS Group offered RMB2 million to sponsor the participation of athletes from Hunan Province in the London Olympics.

In May 2013, Xiangjiao Distillery donated RMB 1.5 million for aid and assistance to underprivileged children and women in Shaoyang.

In 2019, the large public-benefit activity “My University Dream” was initiated. In this year, RMB 5,000 was be granted to each of 1,000 excellent and impoverished university students in Hunan Province as grant-in-aid, so as to help those students from poor families complete their study and achieve their dream. A total of RMB 5 million has been donated in this year.

In 2007, province under VATS GROUP donated RMB5 million to set up Shaoyang Foundation for Justice and Courage as special funds to award outstanding individuals with justice and courage and noble moral sentiments.
