The Group Runs a Talent Training Class

From November 22 to 26, the 2014 training class for young talents was held in Hunan Xiangjiao Liquor Co., Ltd. More than 120 remarkable talents from the production, marketing, and integrated units and departments participated in the training.


VATS Group has always attached great importance to personnel training. In the semi-annual meeting held on September, Chairman Wu Xiangdong proposed to “engage young, enduring, and thoughtful talents” in the “New Talent Strategy”. In order to implement this strategy, the Group has developed the methods to select, train and appoint excellent young talents. Staff under 32 who show good performance, qualities and prospects at all levels will be included into the talent pool of the Group. In the future, managers will be promoted from the talent pool. To help the remarkable staff who have been included in the talent pool to grow and make progress as quickly as possible, a collective training course will run for them on an annual basis.


During the training, Song Chengyao, VP of the Group and Chairman of Jinyuanchun Liquor Co., Ltd., Zhang Jingzhi, head of Linshui Wine & Spirits, Wu Jian, head of Shangri-La Liquor Co. Ltd., Huang Fei, deputy general manager of Vats Liquor Chain Store Management Joint Stock Co., Ltd., Hu Xiangquan, director of Corporate Management Department of the Group, Hao Zhebing, head of the R&D Center of the Group, Xun Ping, CFO of Jinliufu Business Division, provided courses on fine marketing, brewing, and financial knowledge, and external lecturers provided training on communication and management. Yan Tao, President of the Group, mobilized the staff engaged in the training at the opening ceremony. He put forward 10 qualities required to be a remarkable talent and encouraged the staff to be excellent talents with those qualities.


On November 26, Chairman Wu Xiangdong attended the graduation ceremony, hosted a forum on Wechat, awarded diplomas to the participants, and wished them to catch opportunities to show their talent and realize the value of their life on the stage provided by the Group.
