On the morning of August 26, the Stipend Granting Ceremony of the first “Xiangjiao ·Hope with Students” public welfare student aid action was held in Shaoyang again, and Xiangjiao Distillery granted a subsidy of RMB 10,000 to each of the 50 freshmen this year who are humble families but excellent in character and learning. The “Xiangjiao·Hope with Students” Stipend Fund is established by Xiangjiao Distillery to provide assistance for impoverished and excellent student so that they can smoothly finish their university study in Shaoyang. 

Since 2013, this fund has been granting RMB 10,000 for each of 50 qualified freshmen to help them to complete their university study and realize the university dream. Wang Xiaoyu, General Manager of Xiangjiao Distillery and Party Secretary of the Group said at the Granting Ceremony that it was advocated by President Wu Xiangdong of the Group that enterprises was supposed to be dedicated to love and return to the society, and the establishment of “Xiangjiao·Hope with Students” was the practical implementation of this philosophy by Xiangjiao. Ju Xiaoyang, member of the standing committee of Shaoyang Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of Shaoyang politics and law committee, Deputy Mayor Hu Yin of Shaoyang, Vice-Chairman Wang Ruobo of Shaoyang Municipal Political Consultative Conference, and Zhang Yingmei, Secretary of Shaoyang municipal party committee presented the Granting Ceremony and granted the stipend to the students.

After the ceremony, the 50 grant-aided students together with their parents paid a visit to the ecological wine-making garden of Xiangjiao and participated in the parents-children symposium.
