The commissioning ceremony for Guizhou Zhenjiu’s 46,000-ton distiller’s yeast workshop at the Zhaojiagou Base and the prayer ritual for the Dragon Boat Festival were both held by Guizhou Zhenjiu on June 2 in Zunyi. This is another key project completed and put into production since the 6,000-ton liquor-making capacity of Guizhou Zhenjiu at the Zhaojiagou Base was put into production in October last year. The entire production capacity of Guizhou Zhenjiu will surpass 70,000 tons once the base’s 46,000-ton capacity is put into production.

This not only signifies the beginning of a new liquor-making cycle of Guizhou Zhenjiu, but also represents another step toward the yearly production capacity of 100,000 tons.

Guizhou Zhenjiu held a grand prayer ritual during the Dragon Boat Festival to convey to the industry and consumers the internalized quality, development, and responsibility of Zhenjiu staff at the same time the 46,000-ton distiller’s yeast workshop was put into formal production.

“The distiller’s yeast workshop at Zhaojiagou Base has been under construction since last year, and in 9 months, nearly 75,000 square meters were completed and ready for use.”, according to Zhu Guojun, general manager of Guizhou Zhenjiu Liquor-making Co., Ltd. He also remarked that “Since the release of the ‘New National Development Document No. 2’, we have been riding on the momentum to accelerate the construction of the Zhaojiagou Liquor-making Base and assist Guizhou Province in advancing the development of a nationally significant liquor base.” Currently, Guizhou Zhenjiu adopts a method of production while construction, with over a thousand project construction workers working on the construction site of Zhaojiagou Liquor-making Base. This year, an additional 10,000 tons of liquor production capacity and a 20,000-ton liquor storehouse will be available.

Additionally, a ceremony of respecting the master was held under the theme “respect the fundamentals, steadfastly uphold integrity, inherit the originality”, and a ceremony to present donations to the Guizhou Righteous and Courageous Fund was also held.

Guo Liang, general manager and the first person responsible for the operation of Guizhou Zhenjiu Industry, stated, “As a benchmark enterprise in the liquor industry in Guizhou Province and Zunyi City, Guizhou Zhenjiu consistently upholds its original intention to give back to the hometown with practical actions, demonstrate the responsibility and commitment of national enterprises, and make more contributions to Guizhou Province in the new era.”
