Wu Xiangdong, Deputy to the National People’s Congress, submitted Proposal on Perfecting Criminal Punishment on Endangering Food and Drug Safety to National People’s Congress on March 10. Commencement of Ecological Liquor-Making Park for Jinyuanchun Liquor

Commencement of an “Ecological Liquor-Making Park” for Jinyuanchun Liquor, totally worth of RMB 1.5 billion invested by VATS GROUP and covering 1,000mu, was held in Tengzhou City of Shandong Province on December 9. The “Ecological Liquor-Making Park” for Jinyuanchun Liquor would be completed in two stages. After total completion, 20,000 tons of strong-flavor Daqu (yeast for making hard liquor) raw liquor would be produced annually together with 40,000 tons of commercial liquor, and 27,000 tons of base liquor would be stored, with an annual output value of RMB 5 billion and profit and tax of RMB 800 million, and 2,000 new employment positions. The Park would become the first new liquor-making park integrating garden and park, ecology, environmental protection, and industrial tourism.

Opening ceremony of Liling-World Ceramic Art City was held on March 26.
