The 9th China (Guizhou) International Wine Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as “IWE”) was held at Guiyang International Conference Exhibition Center from September 9 to 12. Guizhou Maotai, Xijiu, Zhenjiu and other local Maotai-flavor liquor brands, as well as many liquor companies were gathered to show themselves. There were 7 exhibition halls, and Zhenjiu was present in No. 2 Hall (the Chinese Famous Wine Hall) and No. 4 Hall (Hall of Boutique Liquor Brands in Provinces in Cities). In No. 2 Hall, Zhenjiu showed up in a 3D Time Capsule that included a time corridor to show the secret brewing history of treasured Maotai-flavor liquor to consumer. This design became a highlight at the exhibition and attracted many consumers to visit. At the exhibition, Wei Shuwang, secretary of the Zunyi Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Zunyi City, visited Zhenjiu’s booth and gave some instructions.
Zhenjiu’s 3D Time Capsule could hold 40 visitors for each trip. Walking through the Time Capsule, visitors could explore the brewing history of this legendary brand, learn about the ancient brewing techniques of Maotai-flavor liquor... Guizhou Zhenjiu tried to create more comfortable experience for visitors by limiting the number of visitors, which made it more special and ingenuous among many stereotyped booths. Wu Xiangdong, chairman of Jindong Group, also spoke highly of the 3D Time Capsule after he visited it.
The 3D Time Capsule was divided into eight thematic areas: an image wall, a brand section, a product section, an honor list section, a tasting zone, an inheritance section and a history section. They fully displayed the past and present of Zhenjiu as a brand and allowed visiting consumers to understand the craftsmanship spirit melting in the traditional Maotai-flavor brewing process more deeply. Among them, the “History Section” was equipped with a tuning cover and combined tradition with modernity in images to create an audio-visual surround experience for visitors and a sense of intertwining time and space. Due to the limited capacity, visitors had to stand in a long queue outside the Time Capsule.
Mr. Wang, a visitor from Changsha, Hunan, said that he found the exhibitors were all trying to show their special prowess. He said that he felt like being a part of Zhenjiu’s legendary brewing history as he wondered in the long corridor of the 3D Time Capsule and saw the historical archives, documents, photos, recording materials and videos that revealed the changes of Guizhou Zhenjiu from scratch. “The whole exhibition was crowded, but when I met Zhenjiu’s Time Capsule, I enjoyed its quietness and comfort so much!” added Mr. Wang.
