Xiangshan Liquor Industry held the “7th jar sealing cultural festival” from November 4 to 6 at Xiangshan Ecological Liquor Production Park in Quanzhou County, Guilin City, and turned it into a lantern bazaar, an intangible cultural heritage, with “city-wide participation and viewing by all”, opening the distillery to consumers.
This event is full of vibrancy and variety and includes activities such as a visit to the rice-flavor vintage liquor museum at the Shuinan distillery, a bazaar showcasing intangible cultural heritage in Quanzhou County, and a UAV light show, allowing visitors to fully experience the long history and culture of Quanzhou County. It also showcased the achievements of intangible cultural heritage projects in Quanzhou County, highlighted the advantages of Xiangshan liquor culture, and significantly enriched the cultural life of the public.
Xiangshan Liquor Industry has adopted the method of selling tickets on TikTok in order to be accessible to the general public in an effort to increase its influence. The online ticketing was limited to 2,000 tickets, and crowd control and batch admission were implemented in accordance with epidemic prevention requirements to ensure that every visitor could enjoy the jar sealing festival.
A new product named “Xiangshan· Yizun” based on the classic bottle shape of “Xiangshan Laotan” was released by Xiangshan Liquor Industry on the occasion of this jar sealing cultural festival. This product highlights Zhuang brocade pattern design elements and features Guangxi cultural characteristics.
Xiangshan Liquor Industry invited Quanzhou artisans to put up stalls at the bazaar to present intangible cultural heritage, such as Quanzhou folk paper cuttings, Mayuan Baba, special Golden Flos Sophorae Tea, Quanzhou Ginger Tea, and so on. In addition, Ancient archery, guess lantern riddles, and Touhu games also gave visitors a chance to enjoy traditional culture while playing.
